Adidas Sneakers Too Racist? [Poll]

The new Adidas by Jeremy Scott named Roundhouse Mids are causing some controversy over its unusual accessory. Each sneaker has a shackle meant to be attached to ankles. Some suggest that the yellow shackles on purple, gray, and black sneakers is indicative of African American slavery and is extremely racist.

Adidas has issued a statement saying that that the shackles are a symbol of possessiveness. “One’s sneakers are so exclusive that they need to lock them to their ankles”.
Update: Adidas has stopped all production of this variant due to backlash from sneaker community.
