Here we introduce the Spring 2011 collection from Freshjive. Photographed by Chris Glancy, this editorial was inspired by the 1986 movie River’s Edge and the bleakness that can come about from the mediocrity and boredom of suburban American life.
Continuing without visible name branding, the new Freshjive has a focus on both traditionalism and modernism in both texture and form. The line experiments with the relationship between heritage aesthetics and original design, enhanced by signature fabrics and details. But Freshjive never looses sight of our skeptical view of fashion, culture, and commercialism.
